All Robert Glasper's work has a distinct sound and feel to it. I try to curate Glasperesque shows which follow that same sound and feel...... I want to hear great piano work, deep bass lines and vibrant drumming and special guests in abundance.
I've included two remixed classics from ladies who have recently appeared to RGE albums - Erykah Badu & Jill Scott, as well as some of new finds from Jonathan Blake, Jimmy Greene and Dayna Stephens... there's even a spoken word track from Malcolm-Jamal Warner for good measure
