indeed
So beautiful, a pleasure for my ears.
magnificent!!!
Great selection! I especially liked Oliver Lake's Africa, the kind of song that has the power to transport the listener to imaginary places.
Forgot to say great playlist ! Especially Albert Mangelsdorff ! New to me.
Love the opening track, it's just beautiful. I'm also a big Menahan Street Band fan and love that lp. While I loved every joyous moment, the closing afro section was killer. As usual extremely high standard set.
That first track has such cool sound that gives my a warm feeling inside! Some amazing piano (Danny Grissett) on 'Nature Boy'. They just reissued that "Now Jazz Ramwong" album...I have it! :) My favorite track on that album is 'Three Jazz Moods'. Nice transition to 'Africa' by Oliver Lake...not too free (experimental) here. Some Afro-beat by Master Ebo Taylor...always nice! Sweet to close it off with Jimi Tenor & Kabukabu! GOOD grooves here my friend... :=
thanks Dick - I really appreciate your comments
