I mapped out a dreamy dance mix over the past few daze. My initial release of this deep house voyage lacked legs, balance, dynamics and story structure. So I got to know it better. Deleted some songs that didn’t pass the vibe check. Added sentimental touches in relation to my mindfulness & vipassana meditation journey. Massaged it out. Found equilibrium in the music. The bass. The beats. The words. Emotional peaks & valleys. A story about getting lost in the storms, the sounds, the confusion, the hurt, picking yourself back up and dusting it off. Taking it easy. Holding your broken heart. Loving the scrapes & lessons. Learning how to love a little gentler with time and patience. Dance it off. Heal. Grow. Release.
