Daiquiri

It was created by a miner named Jennings Cox in the mines of Cuba around 1828. According to the most famous story, Cox, during a visit of American guests to the mines, ran out of gin. So he had to make something to entertain them. Lime and sugar were the only ingredients available and here is our recipe which took its name from the homonymous town around which the mines were located.
