New Zealand Month is now officially over, but not before our last first-half-of-show tribute to the quality sounds, past and present of our Kiwi musical friends. Much-lauded super high energy alt-rock band Shihad's classic The General Electric kicks off the show, followed by a Pacifier track (from Shihad's ill-chosen name change to break the US market period) and another track from front-man Jon Toogood's project The Adults. Then we introduce contemporary Kiwi acts Kosmetika, Being and Bernie Griffen and the Thin Men. And keep listening as we debut a track from Jess Hart's new record Sex and Bureaucracy, and air three tracks from the brand new Toronto-based artist Eamon McGrath's new record Tantrama, that was written and recorded in New Brunswick.
