The Roots Mix

people keep asking why i don't play much new stuff and that they don't know most of the tunes i play.. this is why i play them, so much change has happened in drum and bass in the recent that the youth of today doesn't understand the history of where dnb came from. i can go to a dance and ask someone about jungle and for the most part the younger scene hasn't a clue. so many sub genres now its become much more than just jungle or drum and bass and the now commercialisation of bass and electronic dance music has hit the states its been changing at a faster pace than ever. just never forget where you came from and who you are!
