And Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, continues to explore its effectiveness--and pioneer new uses.

In March 2018, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, hosted the first-ever Virtual Medical conference, which was nothing short of mind-blowing!

For two days, attendees from 13 countries explored different aspects of the use of VR and AR in medicine.   Just a few of the areas speakers addressed: phobia treatment, pain management and physician training.  Here's Cedars-Sinai's link to their videotaped talks.
