Colonization is a popular theme in board games, and colonial frontiers make fascinating roleplaying settings.  The Pulp Gamer crew ponders the appeal of colony games--from the skill of resource management, to the thrill of braving the undiscovered and untamed, to the satisfaction of building civilization from nothing.  At the same time, however, we devote attention to a theme that often goes uncommented or is pushed aside in many games--the sensitive topic of native populations.  In our discussion, we drop a number of titles, including:
