George McHendry

George F. (Guy) McHendry, Jr. is a fifth year doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication at the University of Utah. He is currently writing his dissertation on the Transportation Security Administration and the way compliance and resistance is negotiated between passengers and government officials during airport security screenings. You can follow him on twitter at on twitter or on his website. This interview is great for a number of reasons, but one of them is that it shows how different the exam can be for graduate students. George’s exams were written with no notes and he gives great tips on how to stay mentally focused and prepare.
