The wife and I recently returned from a year long overseas jaunt that took in North and South America, the UK and Japan. I've now put a mix together of all the tunes that mean something to various places throughout the trip.
Its a mix of all sorts, of new and old tunes that were on high rotation during a year long trip overseas. Lots of different BPMs and genres. Recorded live in one take. What went into the mixer and came out of the speakers is what is here. Theres some Burial, Boards of Canada, Leftfield, Appleblim, Laurent Garnier, Ramadanman, Radiohead, Lindstrom and Prins Thomas and Alex Perez tunes in there to give you guys an idea of the diversity.
I named the mix "dissolution" as it was these tunes that brought a foreign location and my headspace into the present moment, like a solid dissoluting into a solvent.
