New York resident Max Tannone has been on a journey to explore the music of his hometown. His, now infamous, Jaydiohead (Jay Z and Radiohead) and Mos Dub (Mos Def with dub reggae) projects present the sounds of his city in a fresh new context. ECHO, his mix for oki-ni, stays with the theme of reggae, diving deeper into the genre whose reverberations ring powerfully though music and culture today.
