What. A. Week. As if all the drama at Eastlands and United's training game at Arsenal wasn't enough, it's the Off The Post podcast's 50th show! We can only assume the powers that be at Premier League HQ anticipated such a momentous occasion and organised the fixtures accordingly. Elsewhere there's a meteorological theme to show, as wind plays havoc at the Britannia and Alex goes off on a bizarre rant aimed towards a BBC weatherman.
Plus – just like everyone else on the planet (perhaps with the exception of Alan Pardew), the pod have succumbed to a highly contagious strain of African Cup of Nations fever. After a slight panic when he realised Wikipedia might have stayed offline, Alex is on hand to give us a full statistical lowdown on all 16 runners and riders in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
