The Off The Post Podcast is much like the Olympic Stadium: it causes controversy in footballing circles, whether or not it has a positive legacy remains to be seen, and Karren Brady is a big fan of it.*
*not strictly true.
This week’s pod may not have retractable seating, but it does have: an in-depth analysis of Robert Huth’s nervous system, an outstanding own goal in exotic Watford, Racing Santander’s new owner going fist-pumping mental in the executive box, an untraditional tribute to recently retired Brazil legend Ronaldo, and we add yet another striker to the OTP Knighthood.
We’ll also be sharing our ideas for what the Olympic Stadium site could be used for if West Ham’s bid falls apart (its only a matter of time) in an interview with ESPN Soccernet journalist Mark Lomas, and of course we’ll be rounding up the best and
most ridiculous of the weekend’s Premier League action. That should be enough to keep Seb Coe happy.
