Luminous (Revisited)

The very first set I was ever booked for (but, interestingly, not the very first live set I played on stage) was Luminous, hosted by Sonic Sphere on November 9, 2012. A decade and a month ago was essentially my debut on an event lineup. But, unlike every other live set since, Luminous was never recorded.

Fast forward 10 years and, thanks to keeping track of what songs I played (despite not recording it), I decided it was time to fix not having a recording for this event. I opened up Traktor, hit record, and tried mixing this playlist from a decade ago on the fly just to see what would happen. What an experience that was! I can honestly say that I would have probably made some different song selections now than I did back then, but I still think this is a fun mix and a really neat trip back to my early days of being a DJ.
