Be Reconciled

Reconciliation is what God came to do. There is but one thing that separates God from us and that's sin. We have offended God with our actions, rebellion and our words. It happened in the Garden of Eden where we know that man would sin and break the fellowship with God. People think they have that fellowship by their life being good but that is a lie from the devil. The meaning of reconciliation is the filling the gap between God and man. God took the first step in fixing the gap, not man. There is nothing that God can't reconcile. In most all cases when someone is saved, they are not looking for God, in fact God came looking for them.
There is often a mediator during a reconciliation. 1 Tim 2:5-6, Act 4:12 There had to be someone to stand your case. Christ being the mediator stands between your sin and God and claims your case into salvation. There is a method to the mediation as well and that's the taking of the sin thru death, a sacrifice.
