Soul Time # 44 ~ UK DJ Robbie Vincent's All Winners Show from 16/10/1982. (Tracks Only)

With this Soul Time Mix we go all the way back to 1982 and revisit a Robbie Vincent "All Winners Show" that was broadcast on his very popular Radio London Saturday lunchtime show.
All the tracks played at the time would have been chosen by the listeners and Robbie would normally read out a dedication between playing the records. Listening back to the show (on an old C-90 cassette tape) was a great trip down memory lane and confirmed to me that Robbie Vincent set the standard and that the "All Winners Shows" with their killer cuts were an absolute must listen for all us soul fans at the time. The set-list is packed with some huge soul and jazz funk gems and finishes with Teena Maria's Portuguese Love which was memorable highlight for me.
Many thanks to Robbie for introducing me to many of the tracks in this set-list for the first time back in 1982 and i hope you enjoy the mix.
Cheers Nick !
