Superstition

This Halloween music mix delivers a dark, eclectic blend of classic eerie themes, horror rock staples, and modern electronic reworks. It features iconic spooky anthems like John Carpenter’s "Halloween Theme", Michael Jackson's "Thriller," and Whodini's "Freaks Come Out At Night." The tracklist leans heavily into supernatural motifs with multiple witch themed tracks from Radiohead, Frank Sinatra, and Donovan, alongside haunting selections from Bauhaus, Nick Cave, and The Cramps. It balances these retro gothic vibes with grooving, atmospheric club cuts, incorporating high energy remixes of tracks by Nina Simone, The Rolling Stones, and Stevie Wonder (via Minimatic's "Superstition"). Seamlessly transitioning from the jazzy nostalgia of Louis Armstrong to the psychedelic rock of The Doors and Jefferson Airplane, this mix provides a versatile, retro modern soundtrack perfect for a sinister yet danceable Halloween atmosphere.
