The phrase "Code Name Tempest" refers to a title given by the National Security Agency to technical investigations for compromising emanations from electrically operated processing equipment.
Computers, the internet, and cell phones are all very helpful, but most of us realize that if we use any of those items, and most of us do use them, we are sacrificing our privacy, and perhaps risking our security.  Simply leaving our homes, driving in our vehicles, taking public transportation, and shopping in stores all involve our surrendering  of our privacy.  Technology is advanced to the point that today there is a good likelihood that our government or bad people of all sorts might be observing us.  We can try to protect ourselves to some extent, but if we truly face reality we must realize that the "good old days" of greater privacy are long gone.
Even more intriguing is the possibility of an "invisibility cloak" that could conceal just about anything including military tanks and airplanes
