Tunesday #5

Opening with an effortless mix-down of warm and haunting vocals by Nubiya Brandon who has teams up with Maribou State, following on we see Pional applies his soft-tone vocals subtly on top of an embellishing sturdy groove. The omnipresent deep house partnership of Mario & Vidis are providing the dark and evil side of house, with the Downtown Party Network provided a perfectly calibrated remix. Detroit Swindle showcasing their constant command of the house scene, with the lesser known Woman taken from the Unfinished Business EP oozing an array of vocals, synth and samples. Continuing on the vocal front sees a Deetron and Ben Westbeech collaboration, an ever favorite Stee Downes applying his vocal notoriety on a resurgence from old timers Kraak & Smaak and an eerie DJ Yellow and Flowers and Sea creatures number. Tunesday wouldn't be complete without a Todd Terje feature, the familiar yet dazzling modulation of slinky piano house rounds out this weeks mix.
