Going for a slightly more dubby, blues influence on this episode with layers of soul in the samples and vocals. Starting off squelchy and paddy with some nice quality Ukraine deep into quite reflective in the moody mode with tracks from Luca D'Arle and David Keno then moving towards the late night floor with a tough and dirty get down groove and swing, through some tribalism that peaks with lush deep pads on 'End of Brooklyn' dubbing back down to a heavy yet elevating closer. Standout for me are the Matt Prehn, Juliet Sikora, Francesco Robustelli, Beckwith and DMEP offerings. Watch out for the 'RIPGroove' sample on T4 and 'LoveleeDae' loops on T8:)

Rock solid this, the Demarco project track is a perfect opener, that clipped, stabbing bassline reminding me of some of the vintage house to be released on Pagan and Paper in the late 90s. 'Over', with it's melodic reference to Kim Wilde's 'Keep Me Hanging On' runs nicely into the tougher soul stylings of David Kano and it hits a stride from there with the Sikora and Prehn tracks providing some muscle. The Prok & Fitch remix of The Future Is Yours is hard as nails, lovely bumping sticky floor 4am material, the like of which used to figure regularly at Roach and is also reminiscent of Peace Divisions sound in it's production, highpoint of the mix for me is the Beckwith track which plays with the well worn 'nu garage' bassline effect without relying on it, adding some lovely melodies and vocals while keeping it focussed, lovely tune, and one of those that makes the set jump at you towards the end.
