Can minimal ambient music be cinematic? Can one single note be epic? Can sleeping music be enjoyable and rich in detail? I tried to prove that it can be with this one hour ambient collection, which I dared to open with one of my own pieces.
The main idea generates from the Stars of the Lid track, because I've always wanted to make an ambient mix that ends with The Artifical Pine Arch Song. It's an incredible piece of music: very minimalistic, but at the same time its approach is absolutely cinematic. It flows endlessly, it changes constantly, and still, it only uses a few notes.
This compilation might be the perfect sleeping music, but my attempt was that it should be interesting wide awake, too.

Thanks for 3.500+ plays!
(Still one of the favorites from my own mixes.)
Your opening composition is a mind-blower. Very nice way to lead into such a powerful yet peaceful universe of color. Very good collage of sounds that create a detailed painting of your intentions. Peace.
Thanks for your kind words, Tonepoet, an honour. :)
