Digging through my old mixes and found this curio - 4 hours I recorded of the monster sets I used to put on when Modernism first started in a village pub on the outskirts of Woking.
The pub had a lovely terrace with speakers dotted about - so my friends and other revellers would get nicely sloshed as the sun went down before coming in for a boogie around midnight. It being Woking, things would get quite raucous but unless you were an absolute twerp you would have a good time.
This mix is completely unedited - there are tons of wobbles. It was also played on my trusty Technics CD decks - the DeLoreans of the CD Deck revolution. Lovely to look at, a nightmare to repair or service. A huge direct drive platter that was sluggish to say the least - but all in all a wicked deck to migrate from vinyl on to. The mix sounds quite vinylish - not too much looping and certainly not synced!
I've forgotten so many of the 2007-2009 tunes that are on here - its a real time capsule. Enjoy!
