Not much can go wrong when you start a mix with "Georgia on my mind" in the Maceo Parker live version. Let that track be followed by "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" in the Jack Van Poll version and you're pretty much done...
It's all crazy right now. Yesterday evening, I had a little exchange with my sister about how I was going to give up music for good. Only to work on two songs until four in the morning. After getting up late this morning I reworked my studio. And after a little tour into town, I worked on my crates for hours tonight.
It's funny how my thinking and body follow opposite directions. Has been like this for years. When a bird and a book have different opinions about a matter, you want to listen to the bird, the Hopi say. Same is true for body and mind.
Love the wisdom of this body. Love how music helps me tame the craze that has been going on in my mind for decades...
