In this full interview, I chat with former bassist of the Ramones - CJ Ramone - who controversially replaced founder Dee Dee Ramone after he left the band in 1989. Chris Ward also known as CJ Ramone played with the band from 1989 to 1996.
In this tremendous encounter with CJ, he chats with me about his entire life - growing up as a keen soccer player, getting into playing bass guitar, the first time he ever heard the Ramones to an extraordinary story of how he got into the band after two stationed with the US Marines Corps.
This could be perhaps one of the most candid interviews I've ever done.
