NIGHT SHIFT 004 - Surface Tension

A mix that starts off light and funky, growing into some big balearic moments after a moody twist or two. Best listened to in the last moments of a day's sunlight.

I made this mix as an exploratory exercise for things I've learnt DJing and dancey artists I've come across this year.
Lots of sounds and genres intrigue me so I'm not a very focussed listener; piecing together something that felt cohesive was a (fun) challenge!
I tried to pack in a variety of sounds while keeping it danceable. Hope you enjoy the ride :)

Night Shift is my personal mix series which I don't have a timeline for. It's mostly for when I find things that fit together in a satisfying way :)
Each one is named after the track that I feel resonates most with the mix.
