Nothing as beautiful as the sound of a vibraphone. It makes me instantly happy. Especially when mastered by a legend like Roy Ayers, now 73 and still going! But Roy Ayers is more than that: he is the groove, the funk and he has wisdom to share. Many hiphop-artists thought likewise, and so his music has been sampled many times in the golden age of hiphop, as well as today.
