Introduction piece of Mali music, an orchestra of 14 musicians, the Orchestra Regional de Mopti personified the cultural policies of their era by adapting traditional melodies and songs into a modern performance context. Following Clara Rockmore, the Lithuanian classical performer of theremin, with her fragile and accurate movements, is presented here, as a fellow coming out of a time machine together with John Carroll Kirby minimal sounds. Hiroshi Yoshimura and his simplicity confirm that complicated processes are not needed to convey emotions while cuban musical group Sexteto Bolona would be good friends with greek rebetiko artist Kostis Bezos, and his classic havagies, as both stand out with their pure, slow and original sounds. Kurosh Yaghmaei, an Iranian singer and composer, whose music has been banned in Iran, describes a melancholic picture and this piece is a closure that make a feeling settling in the heart.
