Mend by Geotic was an album that came out of nowhere, at a time when I didn't know I needed some musical mending. I played it over and over healing more on every listen for a pain I didn't know I even had. It is such a joyous sound he creates with mainly guitar and loops. If his intention was to mend the listener, I think he achieved it, tremendously.
Ah wow, sounds like it's been a true medicine that - music really does have the power to heal. I'm really looking forward to listening to it now : )
Great to see Geotic in this mix...his Mend is monumental. Might there be a tracklist? Por favor?
Geotic is amazing, eh? His latest is so beautiful - 'Simplehearted' & 'Linger' - definitely going to be using a few of those tracks in future mixes.

Hi Michael just read that this is the end of the road in the 'Sidetracks' mix series where will you be going from here will you be doing other mix's on this ambient genre, also when are playing your monthly mix on FriskyRadio as I would like to tune into it : )
It's true, I'm sad to say it's the end for this particular path, but we've had a good run :-)
I plan to do a special 'End of Year' mix starting next year - pour everything into one bombastic 2 or 3 hour effort :-D
