Torn Flag

I'm quite sure than many of us are going through a lot of emotions after the election. I know that I am still feeling stunned. I'd like to say in advance that this is no rant about Trump or any of you friends who may support him. After a few days of quiet thought after my initial shock wore off I thought it would be helpful for me to make a "piece" that would share some of my inner thoughts in the way I best express myself, through music. As you might guess from the title: "Torn Flag" this was not an easy experience, but after days of working on it and revising it I had what I was looking for: some catharsis. I'm not sure how it will affect anyone else, nor am I sure how many others will be interested in it, but sharing music is what I do.

This is not dance music. Is is a collage of styles, much of it instrumental. The vocals are either overtly or subtly political in nature ( think 60s ) with the instrumentals meant to either suggest a skewing on and off the course or simply an abstr
