In the first of this regular program Sara Zaltash reports from the anticipatory and spirited Mayfest Opening party at the Bristol Old Vic. She presents her own and the audience’s immediate responses to Selina Thompson’s show Salt, and attends and the event at Residence - I’m Still Standing – which brought together inspiring artists and theatre makers standing strong against cuts to the arts.
