It’s a mystery. In a small Welsh town, Brian Heidelberg writes scathingly about its inhabitants. The author self prints the books and droplifts them into charity shops (thrift stores).
An American English lecturer comes to investigate the phenomenon, on the advice of an ex-student, who is on the grand tour of Europe.
When he arrives, he discovers (through one of the books) that the student is now being held captive by the author in their basement.
The amateur detective now needs to find her before it’s too late. Where is Heidelberg? Are there clues in the novels?
