I’m slow in catching all of the sugary connections across these tracks - sugar, honey, milky way, orange crush…
And frozen yogurt “melts”! It’s all coming together.
@reade if I’m being absolutely honest. It kind of just worked out that way by accident. The first half of the show has fewer sweet treat references.
@matt-conte Admit nothing.
Love me some Furs. They never fail to trigger nostalgia for my cassette & Walkman days…
I still want your original cassette mix tapes.
@matt-conte Me too… 😢 Though, I’ve been told my sister has a shoebox full of tapes I made, and I’d love to get to listen to them again. They’re probably ridiculous. I tried to recreate the vibe on my "WMMTMM Radio" show I posted here a while back.
Nothing like playing this on my first college radio shift at 2 am. Bringing back loads of memories. Thank you.
That’s what I was going for with this mix!
Pretty sure at least half of these came out during my 2-year stint from 88 to 90. Really was a trip down memory lane! Plus, TCBY rocked.
Amazing how one song connects so many people
Really like it when people play me music that they love
It's so good... so good… (Not just quoting the lyrics here, also commenting on your show).
Like shhuuuuugggaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh…(Honestly I prefer David Hasselhoff’s cover version, but please don’t tell Echo, or the Bunnymen…)
We should collab on a show of counting songs.
