Martyn Brown's journey into music began decades ago, working with a company that hired out jukeboxes to pubs, clubs, and cafés across the UK. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for vinyl collecting—something he’s proudly continued for over 45 years.
Crate-digging for rare 45s and LPs has taken him to record fairs and vinyl haunts all over the country. Today, that same love of music drives Vinyl Impressions, where Martyn shares hand-picked gems from his ever-growing collection—many of which never made it near the Top 40.
Broadcasting weekly from his home studio in Dorset, Martyn researches, produces, and presents each show himself. His deep knowledge and genuine love for music come through in every episode.
With experience on local radio in Bournemouth, guest spots alongside national DJs, and live sets at major clubs, Martyn’s musical roots run deep. Rather than stepping back, he's embraced internet radio as the perfect platform to reach listeners who value timeless tunes, deeper cuts, and authentic sound.
