Volume 13 isn't like the rest. I started at 110bpm with a Calum Scott's beautifully stripped down cover of Robyn and slowed it down from there - moving from stargazery alternative to introspective downtempo grooves and finally into 90s hip hop and R&B. There's an unaired Stevie Wonder performance from his 1983 debut on Saturday Night Live, an old R.E.M. ballad and one of my old school favorite tracks from Baltimore's own Lake Trout - who, incidentally, played at my wedding.
Definitely not a turnt up 90 minutes. But it grooves. Across a wide gamut of genres, styles and artists. Hope you enjoy the weirdness.
