Macro Management

This mix was a huge undertaking from the get go. the concept was mixing the sounds of the past and preset in a way that I never have before using an Akai40 with Ableton Live.

I decided to cut up all the tracks I wanted to use into bite sized chunks so I could re-edit on the fly as well as laying over amen break loops , resulting in complete control over my set list and the ability to improvise on a level I never thought possible before.

The result was a bit of a return to my roots ( Harmsworth ) with high energy drums and ravey synths combined the purple sounds I have been pushing as of late with the Def Child project. Enjoy !
