O2 Making Waves - Flinders
Philip Flynn's performances could be mistaken as an ensemble of musicians playing,
yet this artist creates his experimental mix of 'grunge and Brit-pop' by blending harmonised
looped vocals and pulsating rhythms with electronic and acoustic guitar mixes to create a unique
sound all to his own. After a trip to Australia determining his name, Flinders set about making
music his profession concentrating on his art of song writing. Having perfected his live
performances to mimic his recorded Debut E.P, Flinders, with the help of some clever engineering
and numerous pedals, offers a sophisticated balance of technology, distortion and melody.
With 2007 boasting more live offerings, Flinders hopes to travel 'wherever the music takes
him.' Drop us a line to let us know of what you think of this weeks O2 Making Waves to
