O2 Making Waves - Declan de Barra

Declan escaped Ireland in the eighties and headed for the creative hub of Melbourne. After
dabbling in art for a while Declan eventually found his voice with the band Clann Zu and toured extensively.
On returning to Ireland in 2002, Declan went it alone and created his first solo offering 'Song of a Thousand Birds',
for which he had two years to learn the guitar from scratch. It's dark, brooding, and full of intense lyrics and
