O2 Making Waves - Cap Pas Cap
Already a hit with the critics having featured on many of the 'bands to watch for 2007'
lists Dublin four piece Cap Pas Cap have been reeling in audiences with their hooky basslines,
irregular rhythmns and the inspired, often frantic vocal outbursts of singer Gavin Duffy.
In business for just over a year and without a single release to their name, the band entered
a competition on the Bandwagon website without knowing what the prize was. They won and ended
up playing in front of thousands at the Reading Festival, charming the crowd with their 70s
new wave inspired energy. Having sold out the first pressing of their debut ep 'Not Not is Fine'
in a matter of weeks, those who bought the recording could be forgiven for thinking they have
a future piece of Irish Indy history in their record collection. Listen to the mighty
Cap Pas Cap and send us in your comments to makingwaves@podcastingireland.ie
