Here is an introduction to a quite new genre of music called Moombahton or Moombahcore (and a few tracks that might be called Glith-hop as well) for those of you who I haven't introduced it to in person.
Moombahton started in 2009 when a DJ primarily playing house was to play at a Reggaeton party, and to kick things off he started by playing a dirty dutch house remix of a track called Moombah, slowed down to Reggaeton tempo; hence the name Moombahton.
Its primary influences from the outset was the dirty dutch sound with lots of latin percussion, at the slower tempo from Reggaeton. These days the style has moved more towards electro house and dubstep, and away from the latin drums, but the tempo which still remains makes it a lot more laid back, while still having a distinct groove.
