The Manimal Sessions - v1

This is a rowdy session from a dark September night in 2000. About 10 of us hanging out in a garage. By the end of this mix we had about 50 or more getting down in the dark just loving the sound. Quite a night. We were a few blocks from the beach and every once in awhile you could hear the waves crashing under the beat.

A lot of these tracks didn't get "released" -- they were gifts from friends, things we were thinking about putting out, trying on dancefloors. It's sweaty, gritty, sometimes dreamy... it's my kind of mix. A little bit of everything and a total journey. It's not polished, or synced, or any of that. It's mixed, live, some for the first time.
