This mix is not for the faint hearted, you have been warned!
It’s inspired by Demdike Stare’s 4 part Elemental LP which was recently released. Amazing artwork and beautiful coloured vinyl (which I’m a total sucker for) but most importantly sounds even better then it looks. Like some sort of otherworldly demented soundtrack escaping from a disused old coalmine or closed down rusting away ironworks. That’s the vibe I went for dark, dank and dread.

Yo G - I am intrigued by this one but am taking it that as it is called The Pit and mentions darkness I should probably steer clear? If its just chest thumping and belly rumbling darkness then I can fire away - but if there is anything that will mentally disturb me then I need to know and you will have to upload my show tunes mix instead....XXX
Furthermore... Nice to hear Caramel Cognac, an old favourite - and that Anodyne track is a cracker I used in my own Marsh Dub Assault Mix. Marvellous.
