On Wednesday February 24th we spoke to Brock Roberts, Director of this year's ESO show Carmen, and Flynn Le Brocq, ESO's current President, following their 5* review from opening night.
Following a record-breaking year with last year’s production of ‘The Magic Flute’, Edinburgh Studio Opera is thrilled to announce it's 2016 production of Bizet’s ‘Carmen’. This tragic tale of love, lust and betrayal sees the scheming Carmen and her devious charm capture the interest of both soldier and toreador alike, resulting in a passion-fuelled tension that mirrors the surrounding conflict of the ongoing Civil War.
