A listener asked if I could help identify music from a defunct website. The tune is looping electro/acoustic music of micro sounds that came out 10 or more years ago.
I found the track & it's lovely. It's Walden Dos by .tape. I haven't listened to this style of music in quite awhile but when I heard this cut I knew I'd have to make a mix. I'm not sure if this style will be part of my regular listening habits but in small(micro?) doses these tunes can be very soothing.

This mix brings to mind the Japanese esthetic of Wabi Sabi (of the tea ceremony) of simplicity and grace. The musical artist who exemplifies this aesthetic is called Meitei . I recommend finding his music. Here's the tracklist to this excellent mix by LLM....enjoy.....Bill Evans - Jade Visions
