This is a mix I did back in 2006 but is one of my favorites so I thought that Mixcloud folks might enjoy it. All the tunes have an orchestral feel. Some are repetitive, some are dreamy, some are dense, some are light, some are long, some are short. All of them are excellent neo-ambient-classical-orchestral tunes.
Tracklist
Playing tracks by Deaf Center , Ryan Teague, Max Richter , Gavin Bryars, Library Tapes and more.

10:00 is so creepy. What is the old man saying?
It is definitely creepy but also beautiful. Here's a link to the original piece of music and a description of how it came about.

:-)
Never mind just saw the answer below. I love this mix.
Thanks for listening! As I said below, definitely try to check out the full Gavin Bryars piece - hauntingly beautiful.
What is the song being sung underneath at 10:55 - it seems familiar somehow but I can't quite place it.
e.g. at 9:00
What's with the creepy old man singing "little bells", endlessly, near the beginning? Gave me nightmares!
Hahaha1 I know what you mean it is sort of creepy but I think it's quite beautiful as well. It gets more beautiful with each listen. here's a link to the full piece by Gavin Bryars - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1lnSi7QWY8
You should look up the story behind the song, it's absolutely beautiful! It's from an EP by Bryars which also featured "The Sinking of the Titanic", with an equally chilling history to it.
