It's been 3 years since the last season of Netflix's Stranger Things. Now with the 4th season upon us it's time for a new mix. Similar to previous versions of Stranger Synths, this takes the retro vibe of the show's soundtrack and collects tracks that sound like they would fit perfectly in the TV series.
I wasn't planning on doing a mix this time around until I stumbled on the track Cybernaut by Jonny Fallout. The track can be found on a compilation from Triplicate Records called "Protozoa" - https://triplicaterecords.bandcamp.com/album/protozoa
As soon as I heard the track I was hit with a great Stranger Things vibe so I knew that would be a perfect way to start the mix.

The Netflix hit, Stranger Things has re-awakened an interest in the music of Kate Bush, because of the song, Running up that Hill. She's one of a kind as is this great mix. Merci.

The Belury Poly selection sure sounds a lot like Tangerine Dream (which, of course, would have also been quite appropriate for that time period).
I almost didn't use that track because it sounded too. much like TD. But I decided I liked it enough that I just had to include it.
