I was listening to music from Lunar Testing Lab recently and the album, "Space Program", has a sort of retro/space/electronic feel to it. Boards of Canada in space?
I thought a mix of music with this kind of feel would be fun, so the result is "Remember Tomorrow". I tried to use tunes that had that retro, space program vibe without being too kitschy or cheesy. It's fine line & I hope I walked it successfully.
This is an old mix from 2009 that I realized I'd never posted it to Mixcloud so I thought I would haul it out of space dock and update it with a few more cuts added to the end. It's great to hear tracks from Freescha, Lunar Testing Lab, Bochum Welt and others for the first time in a long time.

I noticed the Lunar Testing Lab "Phantom Cosmonaut" piece has a small sample of a Tomita clip in it (I think from Snowflakes are Dancing). I especially loved the Frank Comstock piece--it really fits in with the retro/playful vibe of the mix. Another album that would fit in well here is "The World of Tomorrow" by Komputer--it's quite reminiscent of Kraftwerk and has a fun vibe to it as well.
