Another great mix curate by Paul Asbury Seaman.

Paul says: “I love the visual patterns created by ice & I’ve always loved the bell-like sounds sometimes used in electronic music. The idea for this mix started with a compilation, Message from a Subatomic World, from which I got the title track here, & ended with my discovery of an artist working with gamelan bells, Gordon Pigeon, which opens this set.”

Thanks for hanging out and absorbing the chilling vibes!

As smooth as rain on a forest pond.

Tom Murphy

I wish I could favourite this mix twice - brilliant stuff

Hedda von Rosa

just what I needed

Ice Castle froze me... Deep inside myself I know - I am alive...

Putrescencia Iridiscente

Fantastic mix! It's funny, I just made an art installation which involved ice and light, where drops from a melting ice statue where hitting a water sensor where triggering a bell-like random music pattern (I did use sine-wave sounds actually). Please have a look to a short clip movie I made:

Wow, that was fascinating! Thanks for sharing.

The Night Owl

Fell asleep to this this morning. Perfect!

+1 on the bells, it's such a unique sound that allows the ability to choreograph a story, in a short timeframe. Absolutely love this Paul. Thanks for making it "come to life" with the posting, LLM.

You are very welcome. I love having a conduit to share with others these beautiful discoveries, as well as some of my favorite artists.
