I am very excited about this mix. It's an underwater themed mix using music libraries & soundtracks from the '60's & '70's.
I actually stole the idea for this mix from Astromatt over at Soundcloud.com. He does a great job of mixing these old recordings into something that sounds new & different. I like his mixes so much that I just had to give it a shot myself.
With a lot of this music, it's very easy to cross the line into cheesy/kitchy territory. I tried to find tunes that had that old 70's undersea soundtrack feel but were still listenable by today's ambient standards. I think it works pretty well as an ambient mix, very relaxing, with a cool watery vibe.
Tracklist
Playing tracks by Amedeo Tommasi, Eugene Thomass, Michel Redolkfi, Franco Tamponi, Gaston Borreani and more.

What can be more eerie than an underwater adventure? Your mix works great to bring it to life LowLightMixes!
Inspired by an exhibition from Damien Hirst, I came up with a mix around the theme of shipwrecks and forgotten treasures which I thought you may like (spoiler: it's full of danger!): https://www.mixcloud.com/sylvainl/sounds-from-the-unbelievable-music-for-underwater-adventures-sl03/
