This is mix #3 in the "simply ambient" series. It started with "simply ambient" then "purely ambient" and now "always ambient."
I listen to a ton of new music every month and this series gives me a chance to get some of that new music into mixes without having to wait for an appropriate theme. It's just straightforward ambient tracks, no theme, no big concept, no story to tell - just excellent ambient music, always.

I am working on a curated list of Ambient/ ASMR recordings that incorporate ASMR into a track that enhances the track without overtaking it. There is a condition which i think i have a touch of called Misophonia where people have a viceral reaction to human made vocal mouth sounds like chewing loudly that often disgusts a person who has this condition. ASMR is supposed to have the opposite effect and provide a pleasant stimulus response. This is what i am trying to find in the Ambient/Asmr hybrid music. The search for this hybrid form is ongoing and when i have a decent selection i will try to get it to you somehow.

Well i am into the 324th mix of LLM'S mixes and have had great pleasure in side-tracking and digressing during a listening session to discover the story behind the artist or track. The process has taken several months and has been a constant companion while at work, prepping meals, and the usual daily rituals. Since this type of music is not very intrusive the listening process can be easily interrupted or ignored, and usually allows for concentration of tasks at hand, even while reading, or other focus required activities. Along the way i have discovered some memorable music that have gone into my own playlists for future listens. I have 8 LLM mixes to enjoy. The journey seems to just beginning as i near the last handful of sonic maps. Thanks LLM, for providing the soundtrack to my ambient life for the last while. ASMR ambient would make for a very interesting mix. There's a fine line between good ambient that falls into that category and music that just becomes annoying. Jp, if you have a list of suggested tracks I'd love to start compiling them into a mix.
A nice assortment of music that would make great background ambient music. While you selected a number of different artists and labels, the music throughout has a clear consistency to it. This would be a great set to study to or to do other work where you want an ambience that is comforting without requiring a lot of focused attention. Nicely assembled!
