We reach into the archives for an old mix that has never been posted on Mixcloud. This mix, and its style, is one of my favorites. This is a shortwave music mix. It combines actual shortwave radio recordings with ambient music that has radio/transmission elements. There's is something very comforting and nostalgic about the wash of static from a radio.

I've swapped in two newer tunes by Marcus Fischer & Jogging House. But the rest of the mix is just as it was 9 years ago in all its washed out, interference glory.

Re. Being labor intensive I totally understand ... I have been working on a shortwave interval signal surround mix for YEARS and I’ve only got like the first 10 minutes done... now that I’m retired as well as avoiding humanity in general, maybe I’ll finish it soon...
Haha! I thought the avoiding humanity and working from home was going to be great for my mix schedule but nope I can't seem to get anything done in a timely manner. I blame it on covid brain. Let me know if and when you finish your mix. Cheers!

I'm glad you like them! They are some of my favorites as well. I've meaning to do one for a while but they are fairly labor intensive and I'm a procrastinator so who knows when we'll see another one. Hopefully before the end of the year. Cheers!
